News from the August 2018 Executive meeting.

August 2018

Some words from Executive

WMHA may have finished its season in March, but planning continues! The Executive has continued to meet, and is working towards a successful 2018/19 season.

Without a doubt, there are many families still making time for hockey – playing in local ball hockey tournaments, participating in development camps, or challenging each other at home or in the neighbourhood.

We are looking forward to September and the season to come, and have already put into place some plans for tournaments and new fundraising ideas.

The association has committed to changing the website to a platform that is compatible with that of other centres (website provider is mbsportsweb.ca - you're probably reading this update on the new site RIGHT NOW!) The website will have live schedule updates as they happen within the league, and families will be able to select notifications for any changes that happen for their respective teams. For now, the new site will be updated with news items, in much the same way the old site was utilized. Significant efforts will be put into establishing the individual team pages (will require OMHA try-outs to be completed) and at that point, association members will be notified and provided with information about how to make the most of the site. Each team's calendar is now active. The URL will remain as www.woodvillehockey.com.
